Hurlingham Park

Project London was tasked with reimagining this Parsons Green home, infusing it with a distinctive design inspired by the client’s South African heritage. The goal was to seamlessly integrate natural materials, earthy tones, and botanical elements, creating a warm and inviting space that reflects the owner’s roots.

To enhance natural light, large steel-framed glazing and strategically placed openings were introduced, connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. Lush greenery was incorporated into both the architectural details and interior styling, softening contemporary elements and bringing vitality to the home.

The interior scheme balances refined sophistication with organic textures, featuring bespoke joinery handcrafted by our sister company, Cor Domi. Every detail, from the furniture selection to the colour palette, was designed to create a harmonious living space that blends modernity with nature. Project London oversaw the planning, architecture, interior design, and project management, ensuring a cohesive and highly personalised transformation tailored to the client’s unique vision.

Hurlingham Park was a truly special project, an overhaul and extension of a prestigious Peterborough Estate home that beautifully blends contemporary design with the client’s South African heritage.

Working closely together, we translated their cultural background into a palette of natural materials, earthy tones, and green accents that bring warmth and vibrancy throughout the space. The biggest challenge was harmonising modern architecture with cultural expression while extending in two directions on a tight site, but the result is a cohesive, light-filled home, rich in bespoke joinery, with a calm, earthy yet joyful aesthetic that feels deeply connected to nature.
