This beautifully reimagined Lion House in the prestigious Peterborough Estate, Parsons Green, is a masterful blend of historic charm and contemporary living, designed for a dynamic young family with three children. The renovation focused on seamlessly integrating modern functionality with timeless design, ensuring a home that is both elegant and practical. Preserving the property’s period character, we retained key architectural details while incorporating natural materials such as clay plaster, limewash paint, marble, and polished concrete, lending a Mediterranean-inspired sophistication.

The addition of a striking basement extension enhances the home’s functionality, housing a gym, cinema room, playroom, utility space, and a private guest suite. This new level is seamlessly connected to the main living areas via a bold custom steel staircase.

Internal glazing optimises the flow of natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere while maintaining distinct zones within the home. The ground floor prioritises family-friendly practicality without compromising on design, while the penthouse suite, complete with a west-facing roof terrace, provides a serene retreat.
