Original Art Deco features were carefully restored, honouring the apartment’s heritage while introducing contemporary refinements. Wide oak floorboards in varied lengths and widths were selected to create a sense of organic fluidity, enhancing the connection between spaces.

Beneath the surface, significant upgrades were made to improve infrastructure, including complete rewiring, new plumbing, and enhanced insulation. The end result is a beautifully layered interior that balances rich detailing with a sense of lightness and calm, perfectly tailored to the homeowner’s vision.

A celebration of colour, texture, and layered detail, the scheme featured luxurious touches throughout from hand-painted De Gournay wallpaper and padded fabric walls to jib doors, a Chesney fire surround, imported solid wood flooring, and carefully sourced antiques. It was not our usual brief, but we loved the opportunity to bring our client’s bold and imaginative vision to life.
