This London family home underwent a full-scale renovation, transforming a traditionally compartmentalised layout into a light-filled, open-plan living space perfectly suited for modern family life. The project included a full back-to-brick refurbishment, with a strategic reconfiguration that maximised both functionality and aesthetics.
A key challenge was reclaiming underutilised space, which we achieved by replacing the entire staircase from top to bottom, integrating hidden storage and a discreet utility room.
A sleek loft conversion added a new principal suite, complete with seamlessly integrated air conditioning – a feature often overlooked in loft extensions. Throughout the home, contemporary touches were balanced with classic materials, ensuring a refined yet inviting atmosphere. The use of delicate interior glazing allowed for a seamless connection between living areas while maintaining distinct zones. The final result is a beautifully proportioned, highly efficient family home that embodies understated elegance while catering to everyday practicality.
