Sheerluxe showcases Project London in their "Interiors meets fashion in this stylish London home" article.

In this striking house tour, SheerLuxe profiles a large period home in south-west London (near Wandsworth Common), refurbished for a young family of four. The project was led by our own Head of Interior Design, Marcelina Janiszewska, whose brief was to merge fashion-inspired aesthetics with practical, family-friendly design: “fun, functionality and elegant design”.

Key Highlights

  • The ground floor was re-configured to create an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with clear sightlines to the garden, plus additional roof-lights and a large picture window to maximise light.

  • A full basement upgrade added a gym and utility room; the master suite was comprehensively re-imagined to include a walk-in wardrobe and luxury en-suite with a freestanding bath.

  • The client’s fashion background shaped the aesthetic: design was treated almost like a couture collection, with texture, layering and bespoke joinery. From the article: “Much like a couture collection, where texture, layering and proportion are essential…”

  • Throughout the home, bold contrasts work alongside softer tones; bespoke joinery meets playful elements; the result is a home that feels both elegant and warm, lived-in yet styled.

This feature sets out the kind of high-end, design-led residential work that Project London delivers. It highlights how we interpret a client’s personality (in this case fashion background) and lifestyle (family life, entertaining, functional zones) and translate that into architecture and interiors that are both beautiful and rooted in real usage. For our blog, the article is a strong illustration of our design philosophy: marrying style with usability, layering detail with home-life practicality, and delivering bespoke solutions.
